Key Pick-up

You will receive keys from the main office located at 21 N. Butler St, Madison, WI 53703. Upon pick-up you must go to the lobby area, there is a callbox located to the left of the main door. Enter 101, then a green dial button to be buzzed in. If a gym pick-up has been discussed you will go to 15 N. Butler St, Madison, WI 53703. The Capital Fitness front desk will be on the 2nd floor, you will need to either give them your full name or address.


Move-In

During move-in we ask that you utilize street parking, this is the most efficient way and won't block access to the main driveway. You may park by the curb closest to the houses with the use of hazard lights, otherwise, on the opposite side of the street, there is metered parking available.


Parking

If you have added tandem parking onto your lease, you will receive a parking tag upon key pick-up. This tag must be present at all times from your rearview mirror, with numbers/logo facing outwards. You will be assigned a singular spot for up to 2 cars, we require that tenants sharing a spot are parked vertically/close together. Prairie land towing regularly checks all lots, if your tag is not present you face the chance of being towed.


Internet Connection (18/20 N. Butler St, 24/26 N. Butler St)

Fiber is pre-installed and the internet is provided through SupraNet. All you need to do is find your ethernet port(s) (blue or orange) and plug in your computer or router. We do not provide wireless routers. Please contact SupraNet at (608) 237-6152 with any issues.


Laundry (18/20 N. Butler St, 24/26 N. Butler St)

The machines located within the basements operate on a Smart Card system. The machine to add value to the laundry card is on the first floor of Butler Plaza. In the entrance lobby, you will need to go through the door on the right, opposing the door facing the main office. It will be directly down the walkway to the left, this hallway is open M-F 8:00-5:00 PM(the salon entrance is sometimes open later) . The initial purchase price of the card will be $10 and can only be done with a $10 bill.  The card will have no value when you purchase it. Please put the card back in the machine to add value to the laundry card ($5, $10, or $20 bills only).  


Maintenance 

For all properties, Butler Management LLC provides after-hours maintenance service for any heat, water, or light emergencies.  Please call our after-hours maintenance staff at 608-347-3458 to report any emergency maintenance issues.  For all other maintenance, submit a maintenance request online at  https://www.butlerplaza.net/resident-maintenance-request  It is best to submit maintenance requests earlier in the day, so we can complete it as quickly as possible for you.


Trash/Recycling

Trash, as well as recycling bins, are located on the exterior right side of 24/26 N Butler. Please make sure that all recyclables are placed within paper bags, and that all boxes are thoroughly broken down. 


Sublet

Subletting options are available, with possibilities of either finding a new tenant on your own or with our assistance. With a tenant found subletter there will be a $75 fee. The prospective subletter must complete an application which can be found on our website at http://www.butlerplaza.net/application. Once the application is completed, we will require it to be submitted to us along with a security deposit made payable to the current tenant.

Our team also offers the option of us finding a subletter, with extensive advertising through multiple platforms and scheduling tours. There is a $250 fee, and the current tenant will be responsible for paying rent until the new subletter takes over the lease.

The washer and dryer are located in the basement area of the house, and they are coin-operated machines. Make sure you clean the dryer vent after each use and do NOT store detergents and other cleaners in common areas.
